We love adding more Dragons to the Greek community. If you’d like to talk to someone in Greek Life or receive more information, fill out the Greek Life Interest Form. A student member of the community will contact you to answer questions and help you discover if you want Greek Life to be part of your story.
Rush (recruitment) happens in the fall and Spring semesters. During this time new members will have the opportunity to meet current members of Kappa Sigma and Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternities. Both fraternities host events and opportunities to learn about each chapter’s values, philanthropy and brotherhood.
Recruitment is a mutual selection process. Each fall semester, the sororities hold a formal recruitment week. Each night for four nights, potential new members can meet current members of Gamma Phi Beta and Delta Zeta sororities. You'll have a chance to tour the houses and learn more about each chapter’s values, philanthropy and sisterhood.
Each sorority has a certain number of members as determined by national guidelines. An informal spring recruitment will take place if there are openings in membership. Spring recruitment starts with an informational meeting where potential new members meet current members of both sororities and receive information about each sororities’ recruitment events.
Panhellenic Council runs sorority recruitment. Panhellenic Council is a student organization on campus made up of elected members from both sororities. Panhellenic Council runs formal recruitment in the fall and hosts an informational event for spring recruitment. This organization also participates in various philanthropic events throughout the year in which both sororities are involved.
