Graduate Admission & Application Requirements

    1. Review Program Admission Requirements
      • Admission requirements vary based on the program you are applying to. Please check your program interest for specific admission and application requirements and instructions.
      • Admission to a graduate degree, graduate certificate or licensure option is considered only after all required application materials have been received and reviewed. Incomplete files are not reviewed.
      • Applications to the following degree programs have firm and priority deadlines:
      • Applications to other graduate programs, certificates, licensures and non-degree have the following deadlines:
        • Fall: August 1
        • Spring: November 15
        • Summer: April 15
      • Some graduate programs require test scores on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Exam (GRE) prior to reviewing applications for admission.
    2. Submit Online Application
      • The online application system allows you to apply to graduate studies, submit references online, and upload narratives along with other application requirements. This system gives you a fast and accurate way to check your graduate application progress.
      • The only items that will need to be processed outside of this online system are transcripts and official test scores.
      • Please check your application status often, as your “needed items” will be updated as requirements are submitted.
    3. Application Review
      • Upon receipt of the completed application, including all required materials, the file is forwarded to the program for review. The program reviews all complete files for admission or denial based on the program requirements and returns the file to the Graduate Studies Office.
      • A formal acceptance or denial is sent to the applicant by the Director of Graduate Studies with copies to the Program Coordinator.
