    Facilities and Amenities

The Faculty Development Center is located on the north side of Livingston Lord Library, and serves as a gathering and collaborative space to foster excellence and continuous improvement in teaching and learning. It includes a Coordinator’s office, a multipurpose classroom/workshop space for up to 40 people, a conference room, a study carrel with numerous power outlets for computer usage (bring your own laptop or check one out from IT, who are our neighbors and share space with us) and an informal space for faculty interaction. There is a coffee/tea counter with a sink, microwave, crock pot, and a small fridge. Food and money donations are accepted to keep the pantry stocked.

    Please stop by!

While we do have scheduled sessions each week, we also have unscheduled, informal space for faculty to visit at any time during our open hours. Please stop by to meet with other faculty, get some work done in a quiet setting, or just take a break in your day.
