Scholarships will be in payment toward tuition and fees and must be used during the following academic year. For the second-year renewal (also $2000), the recipient is responsible for submitting her or his academic transcript to the Economic Program Coordinator as soon as the first-year grades and GPA are included.

The awards are determined by the Economics Program faculty. Note that a recipient of the Emerging Scholar’s two-year award would be eligible to apply for upper-class student scholarships in subsequent years.
