The Intercultural Center offers educational, social and cultural programming, collaborates with academic departments, administration, and the Fargo-Moorhead community, and provides opportunities to engage in dialogue on a wide range of topics related to international and domestic diversity and the experiences of diverse individuals. Student organizations, including the Black Student Union and Asian Multicultural Organization, use the space for their meetings. The Intercultural Center is a collaborative space through the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and International Student Services. The Intercultural Center can also be reserved for a meeting.
The Intercultural Center is committed to creating an inclusive campus climate using our grit, humility, and heart to ensure appreciation of differences among cultures.
The mission of the Intercultural Center is to help students develop holistically, think critically, feel empowered, gain perspective on global issues and cultures, foster intercultural communication and competency skills, and ultimately create a campus environment of equity and respect for all.
