As a Graduate Assistant in the CDC I assist students with cover letter and resume reviews, mock interviewing, among other career related tasks, and also serve as a general resource for students. I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) in 2016 with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in history. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Counseling and Student Affairs. I love to travel, and have been to Europe twice. I also have a deep love for music, and like to write lyrics and poetry in my spare time.

As a Graduate Assistant at the Career Development Center, I get to assist students and staff with a number of things from resumes and cover letters to mock interviews and job searching. I love getting the chance to visit with students in order to create materials that will reflect their personality, experiences and career goals. I received my Bachelor’s degree from MSUM in Public Relations and Advertising where I minored in Leadership Studies. I am currently working to receive a Master’s degree in Education Leadership with an emphasis in Student Affairs and Higher Ed Administration. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family, friends and fur baby, Titan.

As the Media and Career Intern, I utilize social media to engage students, alumni, and on/off campus employers in order to promote the CDC’s services. I also work one-on-one with students to assist with job search, career planning and exploration, and networking. I will graduate from MSUM this upcoming fall 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Leadership. Once I graduate, I plan to further my education here at MSUM by pursuing a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration. I aspire to one day be the president of a university (maybe even president of MSUM). I’m currently working on collecting all Disney movies, and my dream is for One Direction to get back together. *mic drop*
