My primary responsibilities in the Career Development Center are to connect with employers, maintain dragon jobs and handle the business side of things for the office. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in Business Administration – Financial Management. I enjoy being part of the culture at MSUM and working with the students.

As a Graduate Assistant in the CDC I assist students with the job search process, review cover letters and resumes, practice mock interviews, and serve as a resource to all things career related. I graduated from I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in public relations. I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree at MSUM in Counseling and Student Affairs. I love color and anything sparkly. Hence my hobby in ballroom dancing. I also enjoy writing and volunteering in my free-time. Two of my favorite organizations are Feed My Starving Children because the essentials should be handled with care and the Counsil for Exceptional Children because everyone is great at something.

I graduated from Concordia College with a degree in Secondary Education in Communication Arts and English Literature, was employed as a high school English teacher for three years, and am now pursuing a Master's in Counseling & Student Affairs at MSUM. I was named after a lite-night radio program called, "Allison Steel Nightbird." My dad liked the names together and liked the program...hence my name, Allison Steel Goossensal.

As the Social Media and Marketing Intern I help plan, create, and execute events here at the Career Development Center through promotional marketing material and communicating with other offices here at MSUM and outside employers visiting campus. I have a  BFA in Graphic Design and continuing my education to obtain my second degree in Graphic Communication and a minor in Advertising. During my "free" time I'm a Tae Kwon Do Instructor and a 3rd Degree Black Belt. Fun Facts: I'm left-handed, I'm a twin, and I have 10 grandparents!
