Business Administration Scholarships

  • MSUM offers a variety of Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, & Finance scholarships for current and incoming students. Scholarships are listed below. Students can also apply for general university scholarships through the Office of Scholarship & Financial Aid.

    Applicants are eligible to receive scholarship awards through this Paseka School of Business program no more than two times while enrolled at MSUM. Paseka School of Business awards will not be given to students with more than one prior award.

    Undergraduate Finance and Accounting double majors will be evaluated for scholarship eligibility in both majors once the review process has begun. However, there is no need to apply in both areas. Please submit your applications under the Finance link and, in the area of the application form where it asks for your major, make sure to clearly identify both undergraduate Finance and Accounting.

    The scholarship application deadline for academic year 2019-2020 (awards to be used Fall 2019, Spring 2020 and/or Summer 2020) is Monday, December 31, 2018. Please use the online application associated with the scholarship to apply. Applicants will be notified during the Spring 2019 semester.

  • Eligibility

    1. You will be properly enrolled as a fulltime student at MSUM during the actual disbursement of the award(s).
    2. You will be a freshman student during academic year 2019-2020, with an officially-declared major in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics or Finance.
    3. You will have demonstrated high academic performance through a high ACT score and/or a high GPA.
        

    Only students who meet the above criteria and have a complete application will be considered for a scholarship.

    Eligibility

    1. You will be an officially declared undergraduate Business Administration, Business Analytics or Finance major at the beginning of the Fall 2019 semester.
    2. You have completed prior to the Spring 2019 semester a total of at least 60 credit hours with a minimum of 12 credit hours completed at MSUM.
    3. Your overall MSUM GPA must be at least 3.25.
    4. You have completed, prior to Spring 2019, at least 6 credit hours of Business Administration, Business Analytics, or Finance courses at the 300 level or above at MSUM with a minimum GPA in these courses of 3.0.
    5. You must enroll for at least 6 credit hours of MSUM undergraduate or graduate courses in the 2019-2020 academic year.

    Only students who meet the above criteria and have a complete application will be considered for a scholarship.

    Eligibility

    1. You are a single mother.
    2. You have been accepted into the Paseka School of Business.
        

    Only students who meet the above criteria and have a complete application will be considered for a scholarship. Applicants will be evaluated with consideration given to overall GPA, GPA in Paseka School of Business courses, and number of credits taken in the Paseka School of Business.

    Rodney & Carolyn Paseka Annual Single Mothers Scholarship Application

    The purpose of the Marcil Scholarship is to recruit and retain students to MSU Moorhead who are interested in a career in the journalism/media industry. Up to 20 students will receive a $1,000 scholarship each year. The scholarship will be awarded in equal amounts in the fall and spring semesters by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

    Qualifications

    • Students must be majors in the School of Communication and Journalism, Paseka School of Business, or Department of Computer Science and Information Systems who are interested in a career in the media industry.
    • New Entering First-Year students and transfer students are eligible to apply.
    • The scholarship is renewable for up to four years. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA in order to renew the scholarshipand continue to be a major in one of the departments listed above.
