  • How to Apply

Follow these steps for non-degree seeking undergraduate admission:

If you’re interested in taking graduate-level courses without pursuing a degree, please contact Graduate Studies for application information.

Our application process is easy, but if you need help, please contact your Admission Representative or the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Apply early to ensure scholarship and housing priority! You should hear an admission decision within two weeks after we’ve received all of your materials.

    1. Submit your application for admission online or by mail
    2. $20 non-refundable application fee
    3. Official high school transcript or GED scores
    4. Official transcript(s)* from all post-secondary institutions you’ve previously attended (This does not apply if you’ve attended another Minnesota State College or University institution after fall 2001.)

*Please have your transcript(s) sent directly from your previous institution(s) to the Office of Undergraduate Admission. If transcript(s) are not in the same name as the application because of a legal name change, you must have the name on the transcript(s) corrected so that the names on the application and transcript(s) match. Please remember to submit a final transcript if you are currently enrolled in another university.
