Kevin Ackley is the co-founder of Chamber Six Media, a filmmaking and video production company based in downtown Fargo. He started Chamber Six Media with his creative partner Oscar De Leon in early 2014 after finishing the MSUM Film program the year prior. Since then he has directed, shot, and/or edited a wide array of short films and music videos, primarily funded through the video work produced at Chamber Six Media. His most recent short film "Song of the Resurrector" was a re-working of the narrative elements of his music video for the song "Monarchy of Mold" by local metal band Maul, and will be featured in an anthology of horror short films called "The United States of Horror". He was also the Assistant Director on fellow MSUM alumnus Jack Beranek's first feature film "Max Bishop" which premiered at the Twin Cities Film Festival in 2019 and will have more details regarding its release soon.
Samantha graduated from MSUM with a BA in Graphic Communications in the Fall of 2019. After graduating, Samantha started as a web designer on the product team at CoSchedule. As a web designer, she designs and builds intuitive experiences for over a million monthly visitors to the CoSchedule website. But don’t let this description fool you, as a creative, every day is a new challenge. What she find most surprising about this field is that a webpage is never done. Constant testing, learning, and iterating are required to produce brilliant work. And most of the time everyone is making it up as they go along. As Todd Henry wrote in his book The Accidental Creative, “...most of the time brilliant creations are the result of teams of people stumbling awkwardly into the unknown.” Although the unknown can be terrifying, she loves working with the CoSchedule team to solve problems and try new ideas that ultimately turn website visitors into happy customers. When she’s not writing code you can find her curled up with a good book, listening to a podcast, or exploring the outdoors on skis, in a kayak or on foot.
Jacklyn (Jackie) Ausk graduated from MSUM in May 2017. Her foot in the door was a Page Designer position with Forum Communications Company, where she earned second place for standing news front from the North Dakota Newspaper Association in 2019. In August 2019, she accepted a position at SCHEELS as a Graphic Artist, and was then promoted to Motion Designer in early 2020. She has worked on a variety of marketing projects in this role, including animation, video, digital design, and print design. Recently, she was proud of animation work she did on a broadcast piece for the SCHEELS Spring Fitness Campaign.

His work as a photojournalist has been awarded by the Society of Professional Journalism, the ND Professional Communicators and the MN Newspaper Association. Ethan’s talent for photojournalism has grown into his own business documenting weddings, engagements and other major life events. He partners with a number of local businesses as a freelance graphic designer, providing services such as print and digital advertising, branding, corporate training materials and even some video.

Animation emphasis, Graphic Communications
Hello, my name is Hanna Loegering and I am a freelance motion graphics designer. Before going freelance, I worked two years at Serendipitous Films in Fort Worth, TX where I spent half my time out shooting video (even getting some cool drone shots) and in the office animating broadcast packages, title sequences, product videos, and whatever else we needed. Now as a freelancer, I chose to focus on animation and I continue to work with clients across the US. I create both 2D and 3D content and really enjoy the wide range of clients, styles and industries I am able to work with.

Sydney Pahl graduated from MSUM in 2018 with a degree in Graphic Design. She is currently a graphic designer at Mills Marketing, a financial marketing agency, trying to make rates and disclosures look good. When she isn’t at her 9-5, she’s hustling to create strong logo and brand identities for new and existing companies and causes.
Outside of work, you can find her cuddling with her dogs, watching Gilmore Girls, or on the hunt for the best french fries.
Molly Zachmeier graduated from MSUM in May of 2015 with a degree in Film Production. After graduation, she worked as a Production Coordinator on the low-budget film “Supermoto”, filmed in the Fargo area. Following that, she moved to Los Angeles to begin her career in the film/tv industry. Her first few roles were on small projects before landing an office Production Assistant job on Starz “Blunt Talk”. Since then, she has worked up the ladder on shows for Netflix (“Love”, “GLOW”, and “Never Have I Ever”), Amazon’s “A League of Their Own” pilot, and most recently HBOMax’s “Genera+ion” where she currently works as a Production Coordinator
