The American Speech Language Hearing Association (2018) describes telepractice as an application of telecommunications technology to the delivery of speech language pathology services at a distance by linking clients and clinicians for assessment, intervention and/or consultation. The Minnesota State University Moorhead Regional Assistive Technology Center is proud to provide telepractice speech therapy services to clients and students across the states of Minnesota and North Dakota, in a variety of settings. Graduate student clinicians are trained in the practice and implementation of speech therapy using the latest telepractice resources and are empowered to provide the best possible care for clients. Telepractice allows our graduate student clinicians to reach an ever-growing population of those living with communication disorders and provide them speech therapy services with easier access in their natural environments.
