The 8th Annual Spring Scholarship Gala will bring together MSUM alumni, faculty and staff, and the Fargo-Moorhead community to provide support for scholarships for current and incoming students. This premier event will feature a social hour of champagne and hors d’oeuvres, elegant cuisine, an address from scholarship recipients, live and silent auctions, and a mystery wine sale, with all proceeds designated to impact students. The net proceeds from the event will be used to fund a variety of scholarships, including need-based, merit, academic, athletic, and more. University leadership will direct the Gala proceeds to the areas where it is most needed.

Formerly the Founders Scholarship Gala, this annual fundraising event funds scholarships for MSUM students. A major area of focus is the Founders Scholarship, named in recognition of the people who founded our University. They created an educational opportunity that has enriched lives since 1888. Long ago our students were affectionately known as "scramblers," because they came from modest means, worked hard, and left with a brighter future. Thanks to the founders, our heritage is comprised of success, service, and citizenship. The Founders Scholarship is a competitive $2,500 need-based scholarship awarded to students who embody these exemplary characteristics. This year's Gala will also fund merit scholarships and athletic scholarships, in addition to the Founders Scholarship.
