 MSUM Library "Diva Dragons"

First Place in the Community Parade Category

Description of your entry:
A troupe of Diva Dragons has gathered to support the MSUM Dragons in their Homecoming game against the Upper Iowa Peacocks.  The Peacocks had better watch out because they will be no match for this bevy of Diva Dragons!!!

Parade Script

This is the 3rd year the Library has marched in the Homecoming Doo Dah parade. 

In 2003, the Library Cartwheelers Precision Book Cart Drill Team took Best Overall Community Entry for its precision marching team pushing book trucks in formation.  It was a captivating performance and left the Doo Dah parade audience clamoring for more.

In 2005, the Library spiced things up with its entry The Library Red Hot Chili Peppers  reading "Hot Reads."  Library people dressed as red hot chili peppers did the tango and the cha cha while chanting, “We’re Feeling HOT, HOT, HOT!”  Once again, the Library won first place for Best Overall Community Entry.

This year the Library has topped their previous performances by providing a parade of Diva Dragons.  These Divas are outfitted in their finest to make this Homecoming the “Best Week Ever.”
