Types of Massages Offered
Sports Massage:
A massage designated for people with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion, while emphasizing prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons.
Therapeutic Massage:
A technique that involves applying pressure to the tender muscle tissue, to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body.
Relaxation Massage:
Melt away the stresses from school and/or work with relaxing massage techniques and soothing music to relax your mind, body, and soul.
Deep Tissue:
Is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense areas such as the neck, shoulders and low back.
Pregnancy Massage:
Reduces stress on weight-bearing joints, improves outcome of labor and eases labor and pain. It also enhances the the pliability of skin and underlying tissues while providing support for the new mother.
Hot Stone Massage:
A specialty massage that uses smooth heated stones to deeply relax and help tight muscles relax. The warmth of the stone improves circulation and calms the nervous system.

Reflexology:
Based on the premise that there are zone and reflex areas that correspond to all body parts. The physical act of applying pressure to the ears, hands, and feet using various techniques. Resulting in stress reduction causing a physiological change in the body. By stimulating more than 7,000 nerves in the feet, reflexology encourages the opening and clearing of neural pathways.
