Your task for Assignment 2 is to put this data into a spreadsheet. It would be advisable to use the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program as that program has data analysis tools built into the program which you can use to do all statistical calculations required for Ed 602.
Create a spreadsheet with eight columns, one for each of the variables in the table. Leave room at the top of your spreadsheet for your name, the assignment you are doing, and the name of the data that is in the spreadsheet (e.g. Data for Ed 602 Students). Also use a row or two for the column headings (e.g. Number, Sex, Major, etc.). Then enter all of the data in the next 31 rows of the spreadsheet.
Save the spreadsheet to a disk file so that you will have it available for use in future assignments. Send electronic mail to your instructor at wassonj@teleport.com and include the spreadsheet file as an attachment. Most email programs allow you to attach other files to sent messages.
