Meet the Graduates

I am communications specialist for DeLaSalle High School - organizing website content, marketing, and internal/external communication. I also run a three-show season as the Artistic Managing Director of Theatre, teach dance and principals of acting, and direct/choreograph the spring musical. I have been a faculty artist with CTC since spring of 2011 in disciplines of dance, acting, musical theatre, and movement. I am within the core teachers who pick the curriculum and create new classes for seasonal programs. I have been a freelance artist and have traveled all over the country as an actor/director/choreographer since spring of 2007. Some favorite stopping points have been Boston, MA, Austin, TX and Farmington, NM. I am now based out of Minneapolis, MN and my work has been seen in many local venues.

I teach broadcast and film to high school students. We produce daily announcements, a bi-monthly magazine show, short films, an annual music video awards show and also compete nationally. I love every bit of it! I was named the Region 6 Teacher of the Year 2010 -- one of the top 20 secondary teachers in Texas.

I audition regularly for commercials, television, film and sometimes theatre. Primarily the work I have done in Los Angeles (since moving here in 2005) has been in commercials, independent film and some television. My husband, screenwriter Hamish McCollester, and I co-founded our independent film production company in 2009 in Los Angeles to produce content that he writes, as well as other projects for which we are contracted from pre-production through postproduction. We are a SAG signatory company and hire professional cast members and crew.
