Theatre/performing arts majors engage in forms of art that uses the artist's own body, face, and presence as a as the vehicle, and the latter uses stage props such as backdrops, costumes or paint which can be modified or changed to create the theatrical illusion associated with preforming arts. Theatre arts majors are entertainers at heart and have are very active in their careers. They learn to capture the audience’s attention and have perused careers as Broadway actors, directors, and stage production managers. Theatre arts majors are also involved in television production, movies, and script writing.
