    An internship in sustainability is a great way to make the leap into a future career path.  The positions will help future sustainability job candidates develop hands-on skills and a broader perspective for the field.   If you need any help figuring out how to navigate the world of state/federal green jobs, stop by the OCS anytime between 1-4:30 on Monday-Friday afternoons.  

    The list below will be updated with information on sustainability internships as they come available. 

    • National Park Service seeks Biological Science Technician for paid internship in Pipestone, MN.  For position posting information. Application deadline February 18, 2014.   
    •  Currently, the National Wildlife Refuge seeks summer interns for several positions throughout the Midwest or Pacific Northwest.  Visit The Student Conservation Association for a full list of details and for more information on position openings.  
    • The St. Croix River Association has internship opportunities available for summer 2014 with positions as Park Guide Interns and Land Program Assistants in Minnesota and Wisconsin from mid-May to mid-August.  To apply, visit the Job Opportunities section of the SCRA website.  Application deadline is February 21, 2014.
    • The Minnesota DNR maintains a list of internship opportunities available and has current openings for Watercraft Inspection interns as well as Wildlife Student interns. 
    • Peaceful Pastures -- Application period is open now for Summer Internships with Peaceful Pastures in Tennessee! 
    • Bluebird Gardens -- Regional internship based in Fergus Falls, MN.
