![]() SSI ProceedingsMonday, June 12Participants took part in two major activities on the first day: discussing MSUM data concerning student success and discussing readings about student success. Tuesday, June 13On the second day, participants used a technique called the World Cafe to explore some of the main questions surrounding student success and what strategies could be used to enhance student success. From these discussions, central themes emerged that would guide the working groups. Wednesday, June 14 and Thursday, June 15Participants met in working groups to evaluate MSUM student success efforts and recommend changes. Friday, June 16 and Monday, June 19The participants took part in Dragon Days activities and helped register new students for their classes at MSUM. Each group looked at Dragon Days from different perspectives. On Monday, the participants convened to discuss their impressions of Dragon Days. Tuesday, June 20Groups presented their reports to the entire group. Based on feedback received from the group, each working group met to begin focusing their recommendations. Wednesday, June 21Kathy Allen led the discussion of large-scale organizational change and how the institute may shape change on the MSUM campus. Working groups continued to meet to discuss their recommendations. Thursday, June 22The institute participants presented their final recommendations. |
