Jeremy Carney, M.S.W., Chair carneyje@mnstate.edu Jeremy Carney is a native of Willmar, Minnesota. He is a 1994 graduate of the social work department at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Jeremy completed a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota and is currently a doctoral candidate at North Dakota State University. Jeremy's practice experience has emphasized the areas of child welfare, both public and private, and mental health care. During the late nineties Jeremy was given the opportunity to teach classes as an adjunct instructor at MSUM. From the fall of 1999 through 2004, he taught social work courses at North Dakota State College of Science. In January of 2005, Jeremy joined the social work department at MSUM. |

Sue Peterson, M.S.W. - smpete@mnstate.edu Sue Peterson received her BSW from Minnesota State University Moorhead and her MSW from the University of Minnesota. She has worked in the human service field for approximately 15 years, including the areas of child welfare, domestic violence, disabilities, and mental health. |

Elizabeth Garcia de Guajardo, B.A.S.W. egarcia@mnstate.edu Office and Administrative Specialist, Intermediate. Elizabeth joined the Social Work Department in Fall 2006. She has been working at MSU Moorhead since Fall 2002. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with a minor in Multicultural Studies from MSU Moorhead in 1977. She worked for 22 years as an Employment Counselor for Minnesota Department of Economic Security. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. |
