Campus Security

Patrol Division

The Minnesota State University Moorhead Campus Security Patrol Division is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is the most visible component of the department. We provide foot/vehicle patrols, investigate reported incidents, and respond to medical assistance calls, medical emergencies, and fire alarms. Patrol Officers compile information for MSUM incident reports and provide assistance to faculty, staff, students, and visitors. The department also provides security services for special events. Contact the Campus Security Department's Office Manager or Director to discuss event security needs.

The Patrol Division provides a walking escort service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call Campus Security at 2449 and inform the dispatcher of your location, and where you need to go. An officer will be dispatched to your location as soon as one is available. We offer escorts to and from MSUM buildings, parking lots, or residence halls. Escorts are not allowed to follow you off campus.
