Investigations
The Minnesota State University Moorhead Security Department will conduct preliminary investigations on reports that require more follow-up information. Depending on the situation, University Security may investigate the report on its own, or in conjunction with the Moorhead Police Department. The Director of Security conducts investigations for cases involving major university issues/concerns (i.e. work place violence, sexual assaults, or situations involving university employees). Other reports are assigned to various staff members for investigation/follow-up.
