Security Administration

 

The administrative staff of the MSUM Security Department consists of the Director, Office Manager, Sergeants, Campus Security Officers, and Communication's Supervisor.

 

The Director oversees the operation of the department. In cooperation with the Administrative Staff, the Director develops budgets, work schedules, training requirements, staffing levels, etc. The Director assumes primary responsibility for any investigations involving University employees.

 

The Office Manager is responsible for purchase orders, bills, conducting background checks, staff payroll, maintains the personnel files, and works with staff/campus surveys, orders equipment and supplies.

 

The Shift Commanders are full-time employees responsible for the regular patrolling of campus enforcing all university and department rules and regulations, they also provide daily supervision of all student employees.

The Communication's Supervisor is a full-time employee responsible for the dispatch center operation, departmental reports, federal mandated reporting and supervising student dispatch employees.
