Welcome to Minnesota State University Moorhead. The MSUM Security Department has 30 employees that strive to provide a safe campus environment.
Our Goals are to:
- Provide security to persons, buildings, and property of MSUM.
- Strive to resolve conflicts through impartial enforcement of University policies.
- Detect and deter criminal activity.
- Work with the campus community in a partnership in crime prevention education.
- Serve as positive role models for the University community.
- Detect and eliminate potential safety hazards.
- Investigate reported criminal activity.
- Provide liaison services with local, state, and federal safety and security agencies, to assist them in the enforcement of state and federal law.
