What is MSUM doing NOW to be environmentally friendly?
Current Projects Planting of new trees: Last last fall SCI funded the planting of 26 new trees around a few buildings and will be planting roughly 26 more this spring. These trees will cast shadows on the buildings helping to keep them cool and lower energy demands in those buildings. Bike Racks: New bike have been approved and will be up by the start of the Fall '07 semester. These will be permanent locations with a better style of racks. Goal: Minnesota Campus Earth Summit
