 Equipment and Materials

It is important to realize that Eyes on Wildlife can be implemented by simply using topographic maps and compasses.  Compasses and maps are effective for whitetail deer studies.  Once comfortable with the project, GPS, scent posts and Arcview programs can be implemented for wolf, bittern, black bear, and other animal studies.  All collars are provided by the Eyes On Wildlife program.  By participating in the Eyes on Wildlife program, you will have access to collared data through Minnesota State University Moorhead.
