We feel that by working with professionals in the field of wildlife research, the following benefits are obtained in a win-win situation for all involved:
 

    1. Students get hands-on opportunities in authentic wildlife research
    2. School-to-work opportunities increase for students as a result of working with

        professionals in the field, learning research

        methods, and the technology associated with and used in the research
    3. Students learn the job responsibilities of field researchers and are able to experience

        certain aspects of their job.
    4. Government agencies receive people power for data collection, and a more positive

        representation in local communities.
    5. Communities receive facts and updates regarding the research going on, and become

        more informed as to wildlife

        management.
