The planetarium entrance is next to the elevator. Eleventh Street South is a one-way street. You may pull into the bus stop area to drop off passengers, but please do not park there.
2. Parking
All buses and cars must be parked elsewhere. You may park on the streets nearby, or you may request permits from the MSUM Parking Office, 218.477.2765, located at 1616 9th Avenue South in the Parking/Security Building. There are no guest permits for buses, and it is suggested that bus drivers drop off their passengers and return in 50 minutes (or 30 minutes for kindergarten groups and 20 minutes for preschool groups).
3. Show Length
Grade 1-12 and public group programs last 50 minutes, including time for questions. By the time you enter, watch the show, ask questions, and leave, the entire presentation will take approximately 50 minutes. Kindergarten presentations are one-half hour in length. Preschool programs are 20 minutes in length.
4. Seating Capacity
Maximum seating is 58.
5. Handicapped Access
The Planetarium is handicapped accessible and holds up to 6 wheelchairs.
6. Arrive Early
Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before your group is scheduled.

Payment with a check is preferred. If this doesn't work for you, please collect all monies in advance and give it to the person operating the show. We can also bill you if necessary.
8. Quiet Please
Please encourage your group to remember that we have University students attending classes in our building and they should be considerate of them. Please be careful of loud talking and stay to one side of the hallway so that other people can get in and out of the building.
9. Restrooms
Please encourage use of the restroom before arrival or before the show starts. Restroom facilities are limited.
10. No food or drink is allowed in the planetarium.
11. If you have any questions, or if there is any other way that we may serve you, please call the Regional Science Center at 218.477.2904. We hope that your group will have a pleasant visit.
