History

Minnesota State University Moorhead has published the literary magazine under various names since the first issue Convivio appeared in 1963 and ended in 1969. The Three Seasons was published from 1977-1982, when a new group of student editors thought it was necessary to title the magazine Red Weather from Wallace Stevens’ “Disillusionment of Ten O’Clock.” For 25 years, Red Weather has featured the best work from undergraduate and graduate students along with faculty, staff and alumni of MSUM.
