What I'm Reading Now: Yet again, too many books to count (I am such a bookworm!)
Well, the time has come, the countdown is officially over. In about four hours and fifteen minutes, I will give my presentation at the Student Academic Conference. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty nervous. Public speaking isn't really my thing, and I couldn't have been more sure of this than when I was practicing over the long Easter break. My palms got really sweaty (which meant the paper got a little sweaty too) and the words in front of me seemed to waver about. I've been told to repeat the mantra, "I know more about this than anyone" in my head, but its hard to do that when I think of all my former professors who do know more about Mrs. Dalloway than I do and will be sitting there watching me.
Now I've got less than four hours to go. I'll blog later about how it went, but right now the main thing I need to remember to do is breathe.
