Sorry for the long absence. It's been very, very busy this past month. As of yesterday, I am done with all of my finals. This is most definitely a first - getting done with my finals right away that is. I usually end up having a final on the first day, and then wait around for a week and have a few on the last day. That's kind of ridiculous, but this all worked out great. Now all I have to do is work tonight and then I get to go home for a few days to celebrate my friend’s birthday and go to the dentist.
Update: I rocked my art history final, as well as its written counterparts; the Drawing Guild decided to postpone our Chicago trip because we’re all really poor right now; I got a $382 traffic ticket (things are much more expensive in Minnesota as compared to North Dakota); I am moving out of my apartment in less than a month into a big house a block and a half away from campus and I’m moving in with my current roomie, my boyfriend, one of the guys from Drawing Guild and two of his roommates. I’m so excited to paint the walls, plant a garden, mow the lawn, have a hammock, build furniture and do exciting things in general. The DG is also having a rummage sale next weekend, which should be pretty fun. My mom’s coming up to help out and donate some goods.
Summer: I’ll be working a lot more – 4-5 days a week. Summer school starts in a few weeks (Experimental Drawing 490 – sounds mysterious and intriguing, Short’s teaching it and all of my friends are taking it, so it’ll be a blast). I hope to travel as much as I possibly can (without taking too many days off…) to my cabin, Mandan, Alexandria, hopefully Minneapolis, my cousin’s wedding in Bemidji, and hopefully we’ll get Chicago rescheduled.
