
Sherryse Mayo (Spring
2007)
Sherryse is the current peer advisor for the
Psychology Department. She
also represents the psychology department on the Student Advisory
Board.
Sherryse spends much of her time working as a research assistant to
Dr.
Lisa Nawrot. Sherryse and her fellow
researchers study the development of
depth perception in infants. Their group presented at the Red River
Psychology Conference last year and won the award for best overall
poster.
In May 2007, they will be presenting their work at the Midwestern
Psychological Association Conference in Chicago where they will also
be
receiving an award. Sherryse has a lot of energy and is a very
involved and
busy student. She works two jobs, is an honor student and remains
very
involved in the psychology department.
