Congratulations to Katie Klipfel for earning the Psychology Department's Paterson Award nomination.
The faculty were delighted to nominate Katie for the 2009 Minnesota Psychological Association Donald G. Paterson Award in Psychology. Katie has excelled here at MSUM, and we believe she holds great potential for a highly successful career in clinical psychology. Katie has been accepted into four Ph.D. programs in clinical psychology and she has also received fellowship offers from these schools. She has accepted the offer to attend the Clinical Program at Kent State University with full support for 4 years. Beyond her academic credentials, Katie is a leader. She has been involved with our Psi Chi/Psychology Club, is currently serving as a Psychology Department Peer Advisor, and represents the department on the Dean's Student Advisory Board for the College of Social and Natural Science. Lastly, Katie is just a great person to be around.
