Students are assigned a faculty advisor in their primary major who will advise them based on their major curriculum. Students are responsible for meeting with their faculty advisor each semester.
Students who are interested in a pre-health career are encouraged to speak with their advisor and utilize this webpage for additional information. Since pre-health programs aren’t actual majors, we want to ensure your understanding of our degree programs, along with providing information for graduate or medical school.
Our Pre-Professional Advisory Committee is made up of professors and faculty members in a variety of disciplines to help prepare students to apply for medical and other professional schools by offering mock-interviews and writing a committee letter of recommendation. Students can get connected to the Pre-Professional Advisory Committee through their academic advisor.
