Students will learn to analyze and construct residential and commercial structures based on efficient design (Lead) practices and green materials. They will learn to do energy audits of existing single building strcutures and communities. Graduate would be prepared to work in the construction industry, designing and building energy efficient structures leading toward a more sustainable future.
CM 469 must be taken for a minimum of 3 credits and a maximum of 5 credits may count toward the emphasis.
Students must take HIST 379 and/or CHEM 340 and CM 327. Students must take four courses selected from ANTH 307, CM 327, GEOS 335, HIST 379, POL 345, PSY 324 or SOC 319. Students must take three courses selected from BIOL 346, CHEM 304, GEOS 305, GEOS 330 or PSCI 378.
