Quizzes may be given weekly, as indicated on schedule or in class. There will be 3 quizzes each worth 30 points.
Material for quizzes and examinations:
There will be three complete lab reports each worth 30 points. These lab reports should be written on the following experiments:
1)The Reaction of Metals with a Strong Acid ;
2) Quantitative analysis of Iron Ore for Fe; and
3) The Reaction of NaOH with HCl.or Fe
The lab reports are due the period following the completion of the experiments. Late lab reports will not be accepted.
Attendance for this course is required. Labs or quizzes missed because of an unexcused absence are given grades of zero.
