Amanda (Bredahl) Lee

I practice primarily with Attorney Randolph E. Stefanson in administrative law, personal injury, wrongful death, asbestos law, employment law and corporate law. I have worked closely with nurse legal consultants reviewing medical records, traveled around North Dakota and Minnesota interviewing witnesses, assisted counsel in trial litigation, and attended an oral argument presented to the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

I work strictly as a criminal defense paralegal. My general duties include research and writing motions and memorandums, preparing petitions to plead, rule 43’s, stipulations and other documents to be filed with the court, interviewing witnesses/clients, processing incoming discovery/sentencing recommendations/other mail, answering general client questions, preparing trial notebooks and completing other miscellaneous tasks as asked by the attorneys.

I work for a private non-profit corporation that provides low-income and elderly Minnesotans with free legal representation. In my role, I assist a wide variety of clients with consumer law issues, family law issues, and Medical Assistance/Medicare issues. No two days are the same, but the majority of my time is spent meeting with clients and drafting documents.

My practice involves collections/creditor rights. I represent businesses and other various organizations in the collection of debts, in addition to the protection and enforcement of creditor rights and remedies, as well as remedies when a debtor has filed for insolvency protection.
