 "Nuts and Bolts of Event Planning"

Learn the steps involved in planning a successful program, from developing a program to advice on how to evaluate the program. Part of what we will be going over is brainstorming, backwards planning, delegation, checklists, promotion and publicity, and developing evaluations.

"Marketing Leadership Skills:  How to sell yourself"

Learn how to sell yourself at your next job interview.  This workshop is geared towards enhancing your resume and interviewing skills based on the learning experience you have had through student organization involvement as well as other extracurricular activities.

"Assertiveness and Leadership"

Learn how to become more assertive. The speaker will explain the differences between passive, assertive and aggressive leadership and the reasons why assertive leadership is much better than the other two.

"Seamless Transition"
Monday, April 16, 2007 from 3:00 – 4:00pm

Does your student organization understand the importance of a successful officer transition?  Encourage both old and new officers to attend this session to learn how to transition successfully.  Complete a Transition checklist and a Rearview Mirror worksheet.  Look at ways to prepare for the transition process all year round and learn how to pass on your wisdom to your new members.
