Tips for Effective Table Tent Advertising
•Since ad space fills up quickly, try to reserve space ahead of time. Two weeks prior to the first display date usually works best. Make sure to leave yourself enough time to design and print an ad before it must be submitted.•If you need inspiration for your advertisement, you can click here or stop by the Office of Student Activities, CMU 229 to see some examples of previous table tent advertisements.
•Remember to display the name of your student organization or department clearly on your ad.
•Unless you are advertising a holiday event, it's best not to use holiday colors around holidays. An orange ad that is displayed around Halloween will not stand out because there are probably many other orange ads displayed around that time.
•Remember to answer who, what, when, where and why with your ad.
•Plan your display dates carefully! Table tents are updated every Monday and Wednesday.
•Keep it simple.
•Be creative! Feel free to use humorous pictures, slogans or quotes.
•Please keep your ads appropriate!
