So you are new to campus and want to meet new people? The key thing on campus here is getting involved. Minnesota State University Moorhead has a myriad of organizations, activities, and events that will give you a sense of ownership in the university community. Below is a description of what each office does as well as links to their websites in which you can find more information about joining a student activity or attending university events. The Office of Student Activities provides leadership opportunities furthering MSUM students development and builds community through programs, activities, and organizations. There are over 100 student organizations so you're sure to find one that fits you, however if you have an idea for a great student organization, feel free to grab some friends, a faculty advisor and start your own! Just don't forget to approve it with the OSA office. The Campus Activities enhances the college experience through leadership, student development and innovative programming that reflects and supports the diversity of Minnesota State University Moorhead and the surrounding community. The Campus Activities Board provides students with the opportunity to develop lifelong skills that complement their academic experience. www.mnstate.edu/cab Student Senate is the one stop place to get involved, get information, and get help for students.
