Operations Management Overview

Welcome to the MSUM 2+2 Operations Management Program. We're glad you've chosen to get your four-year degree on the MSUM campus in Moorhead, MN. If you've obtained your two-year A.S. or A.A.S. technical degree, you're already halfway to a four-year B.S. degree. Our unique agreements with several two-year schools in the region allow students in the 2+2 OM Program to transfer their general education and technical degree credits and apply them to their four-year Operations Management Bachelor's degree. MSUM accepts up to 80 credits, leaving you with only 48 credit hours to complete a 4 year B.S. accredited degree. Those 48 credit hours consist of eight core classes and one internship.

Operations Management covers a wide spectrum of technical expertise and management training and offers multiple career options. The combination of a two-year technical degree and the leadership training that comes with a four-year B.S. degree makes 2+2 OM graduates more likely to gain promotions, and hold senior management and leadership positions. Obtaining a four-year B.S. degree will help you increase your earning potential, expand your career options, and allow you to utilize your technical background while becoming a leader in your chosen field.
