eFolio®

Every nursing student seeking a baccalaureate of science in nursing degree needs to obtain an electronic portfolio from eFolio®MN Throughout the students enrollment, they will add to the portfolio demonstrating how they met the expected graduate outcomes of the department. The efolio® is initiated in the first semester registered for courses and is finalized in the last semester in the last course, the capstone course called Nursing Preceptorship.

  1. Sign up for the student portfolio (there are several choices)
  2. Once you have your site add 8 links to the navigation bar (either top or left, depending on how you set it up)
  3. Title one Resume and one for each of the 7 expected graduate outcomes for the MSUM BSN program.
  4. Set the security: view the power point on eFolio admin and security if you did not figure out how to do this already. You can save the PPT to your computer for future reference.
