David
L. Watson
came to MSUM in Fall of 2000 as a piano accompanist
for the voice department. While here he has accompanied
for many faculty and student voice recitals, choirs,
and competitions. He has also served bivocationally
as Minister of Music and Worship at Prairie View Church
in South Fargo for since 2000 in addition
to maintaining a private studio. In the Fall of 2004,
David joined the MSUM faculty as an adjunct voice instructor
for private lessons and the voice class. Previously,
he served as Minister of Music and Education at Immanuel
Baptist Church in Panama City where he directed all
choirs, musicals, and worship services, and in Dothan,
AL where he lead vocal and hand bell choirs. David
received
his Bachelor of Music degree from Florida Baptist Theological
College in Graceville, FL in 1997, and is currently
pursuing a Master of Arts degree in the areas of piano
accompanying and vocal coaching at MSUM. |
