Dr. Ruth Dahlke


 

Dr. Ruth N. Dahlke started teaching at Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1976. Dr. Dahlke coordinates the double reed studies at MSUM while maintaining an active schedule of professional oboe appearances with the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra and several chamber music groups. She received her B.M. from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. She completed an M.M. and a D.M.A. at Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. Dr. Dahlke also teaches musicianship courses (music theory and history) and our class in non-Western music cultures.
