As the Music Education Coordinator, I prepare pre-service teachers to engage students in all types of musical activities. My students learn and practice traditional and 21st century music education methodologies. I teach general and choral music education courses, oversee the music department’s student teaching process, and direct the MSUM’s Festival Women’s Choir. I recently earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Music Education from the University of South Florida. I’ve taught elementary general music and high school choirs, each for over ten years. During that time, I was recognized in Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in American Women, and Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.
