Dr. Rodney J. Rothlisberger, Assistant Professor of Music


Dr. Rodney J. Rothlisberger is the Choral Music Education professor at Minnesota State University Moorhead where he conducts the Festival Women's Choir and Festival Mixed Choir and teaches vocal performance and choral music education. He holds music degrees from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota; the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, New York; and the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has directed choirs at the Post Chapel of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York; Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine; the University of Colorado at Boulder; Berea College, Berea, Kentucky; Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota and currently, MSU Moorhead. Dr. Rothlisberger has also taught choral music in public high schools in Anacortes, Washington; Melbourne, Australia; and Moorhead, Minnesota. He served on the faculty of the International Music Camp for fourteen summers and has directed the International Ambassadors of Music Choir on three European tours. He often serves as a choral and organ adjudicator and clinician and is Minnesota State Chair of the American Guild of Organists.
