Concert Band
 |
The
Concert Band is open to all university students. The
band meets two days per week for students who want
to make great music, but simply don't have the time
to commit to a more involved ensemble. The Concert
Band typically consists of approximately 50 musicians,
a majority of whom are pursuing degrees other than
music. Degrees range from business to education, biology
to philosophy. Regardless of the major, all of these
students participate in the Concert Band to continue
their performance skills on their respective instruments
and to escape from the pressures of academic classes.
