Formed in August of 2003 with generous support from MnSCU CTL and the Bush Foundation, Fuego Tropicál continues to bring its unique blend of Trinidadian steeldrums and Afro-Cuban salsa music to the Red River Valley Region! Directed by Dr. Kenyon Williams, the ensemble features 3 horns, a rhythm section with 5 percussionists, guitar, piano, bass, and a Spanish-speaking vocalist. Whether you're looking to provide a multicultural education-celebration of the music of the Caribbean or you're just looking for music that'll get your special event hopping, look no further!
