Everyone introduced themselves. The

year are listed below:

February 19 – Concordia
·
March 9 – YWCA
·
April 12 – NDSU
·
May 11 – MSUM
II.
Organizational Relationships:
As Collaborative moves forward it has become
important to look more formally at the decision making process. Two
main questions have emerged from the ongoing work that the
Collaborative is engaged in:
·
How do we make decisions within the
Collaborative?
·
How do we hold each other accountable
within the Collaborative?
The group took the
first hour of the meeting to begin discussion around this process.
Since some members of the groups had to leave early, this discussion
will be continued at the next meeting.
III.
First Bremer Grant Final Report:
All the preliminary information needed for
writing the report has been collected. Amy and Phyllis will begin
pulling together the Final Report.
IV.
Level III Training:
The final counts for the training
have been collected. As of today, 37 people will be participating.
Tegan has given Anita the special dietary needs of the participants
from NDSU. The group decided that the first order of TOCAR T-shirts
would include only Team members who are participating in the Level
III training. We will take orders for additional T-shirts after the
training.
V.
Level I trainings in the spring:
·
March 8 & 9 – At White Earth
·
March 22 & 23 – At MSUM: for new
organizations interested in joining the Collaborative.
·
March 24 – At NDSU
VI.
Speaking/training Requests:
Several speaking/training requests from the surrounding communities
have come into the Collaborative.
·
Tom Faix asked if Collaborative members
would consider coming to DL to do a ½ day refresher training for
their anti-racism group. He provided information about the group.
If anyone is interested in providing the training please contact
Amy Phillips.
·
Family Health Care Center wants several
people to speak to their board on January 22nd about
anti-racism training. Sandy said she is on the Board and could talk
with the Board. Amy will also be at the meeting.
Next Collaborative Meeting will be February 10, 4:00-5:30pm at
Concordia.
