Minnesota State University Moorhead will
sponsor a three-part discussion forum to address the issues raised
in the recently released report to the U.S. Commission on Civil
Rights, "The
Status of Equal Opportunity for Minorities in Moorhead,
Minnesota."
Over the course of three discussion
sessions, participants will review the report's findings, identify
needs and community assets related to the areas discussed in the report,
and specify how current and developed community resources can be
used to ensure equal opportunity and social justice.
The three discussion sessions will be
held on March 27, April 3, and April 10, 4:30-7:30 p.m., at
Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead. People interested in
attending the sessions should RSVP to the MSUM Social Work
Department at 236-2724.
