Instructional Media's Chief Engineer is responsible for the planning, installation and maintenance of AV, TV, public address and other electronic systems on campus. He also assists in the diagnosis and repair of departmental and classroom equipment.

Initial contact with Instructional Media regarding repair and maintenance of equipment is made with Classroom Services (2233, media@mnstate.edu).
Initial contact regarding installation of new electronic systems or the purchase of new equipment is made with the Instructional Media Supervisor (2337, schief@mnstate.edu).
Repair and Maintenance Support
Instructional Media has a limited budget for the repair and maintenance of both classroom and departmental portable equipment. To best utilize our resources, full support is offered to models of equipment that has been approved by our staff. If departments decide to purchase equipment that is not part of Instructional Media's maintenance plan, full support may not be offered in the repair and maintenance of this equipment. We will always assist in diagnosing and identifying repair options, but payment for repair from our budget will only occur with approved equipment.
